Federal Agency Training Opportunities

Take advantage of regularly updated resources and training events from major federal sponsors:

• NIH – NIH Grants & Funding Training and live webinars on policies, proposal writing, and application review.

• NSF – NSF Policy Office Webinars and Research.gov training modules.

• DOE – DOE Office of Science Funding & Training opportunities and informational sessions.

• NASA – NSPIRES Portal with training on proposal submissions and announcements.

• Grants.gov – Training Resources including videos and applicant guides.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in federal webinars, town halls, and program officer Q&A sessions to stay current on funding priorities and proposal requirements.

Regional Foundation Engagement

UMKC collaborates with Kansas City–area and regional foundations to share information about funding opportunities and proposal strategies. Events may include:
