Jodi is the Director of the Laboratory Animal Research Core (LARC) in the Office of Research & Innovation at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. In this role, she oversees the operations, staffing, and compliance of the LARC, ensuring high standards in animal care and research support.
Jodi is also a member of UMKC’s Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), contributing to oversight and policy for biosafety practices. With a strong commitment to research integrity and animal welfare, Jodi works closely with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), veterinary staff, and researchers across campus.
